Newtown Curtains LLC - One Stop Shopping for All Your Soft Treatment Needs Shipping Policies Newtown Curtains uses UPS for general shippments and the Manufacturer's shipping methods for items that are shipped directly from a manufacturer. When a shipping choice is available the shopping cart will display the available methods during the check out process for you to choose from.   For general shipments we offer Next Day, 3 Day, and Ground as shipping options. As you check out your shopping cart, the website will automatically assume you would like the Ground option.  You can select either of the other two options and the website will automatically update your shipping charges.   UPS shipping charges are based on Package Weight and how far the item is being shipped.  The system uses your Zip code to make the determination of the shipping distance from our facility in Newtown, CT to your Ship To address. Some Items are classified by UPS as Oversized.  When an Item requires a package length to exceed 66" there is an additional charge of $10 is added to the regular shipping charge.  When the package is over 120" in length there is an additional charge of $25 added to the regular shipping charge.
